Tree Risk & Health Condition
Redtail provides independent assessment of tree risk, health, condition, damage and value for individual trees and larger sites. Services range from limited ground-based observations and professional verbal advice through to formal written risk, condition, damage and valuation reports, with QTRA applied where appropriate and recommendations based on the evidence observed.
Tree Risk & Hazard Assessment Report
A Tree Risk Assessment Report evaluates the likelihood and potential consequences of tree failure where people, property or other targets may be affected.
Â
Redtail assesses relevant structural defects, target exposure and credible failure scenarios, applies QTRA where appropriate, and provides a formal report with clear risk-management recommendations, priorities and timeframes.
Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) — Observations & General Condition
A Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) provides limited ground-based observations and professional verbal advice on a tree’s apparent general condition. It is suited to clients seeking an initial arboricultural opinion where a formal report, quantified risk assessment or third-party reliance is not required.
Â
A brief written photographic summary can be provided where specifically included.
Tree Damage Investigation
A Tree Damage Investigation examines physical damage to a tree and the likely pathway by which it occurred. Redtail records relevant evidence, considers the probable cause and assesses how the damage may affect tree condition or structure, with written findings and recommendations.
Â
More complex insurance, dispute or contested matters are scoped separately where additional investigation or document review is required.
Tree Valuation Report
A Tree Valuation Report provides a documented assessment of tree value for a defined purpose using an appropriate recognised valuation methodology.
Â
Redtail undertakes a site inspection, records the measurements and condition information required by the selected method, and provides transparent calculations, assumptions, photographs and a formal valuation report suitable for asset, development, damage or dispute contexts.
On-Site Arboricultural Consultation & Verbal Advice — Hourly
On-Site Arboricultural Consultation & Verbal Advice provides direct professional arboricultural advice where a fixed report product is not required.
Â
Redtail can inspect the site, discuss tree-related concerns and provide practical verbal guidance during the attendance. Formal reports, QTRA, drawings, written advice and third-party reliance are separate services where required.
